  • 8 - Kiwis (peeled and sliced)
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 1 - Puff pastry sheet
  • 3 tsp - Butter

How to Make Kiwi Upside Down Pie

  • Heat the butter, and fry the sliced kiwi for a minute on both sides.
  • Keep aside.
  • Heat the sugar with 2 tbsp of water to make a sugar syrup.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.
  • Pour this sugar syrup into a pie pan, and place the fried kiwi slices side by side over the sugar syrup.
  • Cover with the puff pastry sheet, press well to cover the fruits completely.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust turns golden brown.
  • Keep aside and let the pie cool.
  • Gently invert the pie into a plate.
  • Enjoy with whipped cream.
