Ingredients

  • 500 gms - Chicken
  • 1/2 cup - Thick Curd
  • 2 - Tomatoes, small
  • 1 - Onion, big
  • 1/2 bunch - Curry leaves
  • 3 tsp - Tomato puree
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp - Oil
  • 1/2 bunch - Fresh Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Masaledar Chicken

  • Wash the chicken thoroughly.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt and curd.
  • Mix well and let it marinate for half an hour.
  • In a kadai, heat oil and add finely sliced onions and fry till they turn light golden brown.
  • Then add curry leaves and chopped tomatoes and tomato puree and fry well for 2 minutes.
  • Add the marination and mix well.
  • Cook on a low flame till all the gravy gets absorbed into the chicken and the oil gets separated.
  • Garnish it with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot.
