  • 2 cups - almond (badam) paste, ground with half tsp saffron
  • 4 cups - sugar
  • 1 tbsp - ghee
  • ghee for greasing a plate

How to Make Microwave Badam Cake

  • Mix the ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Pour half of it in an extra large glass bowl and microwave on high for 6 mins. Take it out every two minutes and mix well.
  • Add 1 tbsp ghee. Then microwave on high for another 6 to 8 mins, stirring every two minutes.
  • When it is done, the consistency will be thick and gooey.
  • Immediately pour on to a greased plate to cool and set.
  • Cut into shapes and serve.
