  • 1 bunch - Coriander leaves, wash well without the stalks
  • 1 bunch - Pudina/mint leaves, wash well without the stalks
  • 8 to 10 - Green chillies (this you can vary as per your tolerance to spice)
  • 1 small ball - Tamarind, soaked in water
  • 6 to 7 - Garlic flakes (peeled)
  • 5 to 6 - medium sized onions diced
  • 1 small piece - ginger, peeled and chopped
  • salt to taste

How to Make Mint chilli Chutney

  • Mix all the above ingredients along with a little water and grind to fine paste in a mixer.
  • Serve with cucumber slices or raw mango slices.
  • You may even squeeze some lime juice over it when serving it with cucumber.
  • Note:
  • This is a very popular chutney used by the street vendors to smear cucumber, raw mango slices, or even used for making bhelpuri.
  • This can even be used as a sandwich paste between slices of bread and vegetables.
