  • 1.5 cups - barley flour
  • 1.5 cups - whole wheat flour + flour for dusting
  • 1/4 cup - mint leaves (chopped)
  • 1 tsp - ajwain seeds
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup - yogurt
  • lukewarm water as per need
  • oil for cooking

How to Make Minty Barley Paratha

  • Take the flours, chopped mint leaves, ajwain seeds and salt in a bowl.
  • Add the yogurt and water. Knead a soft and smooth dough keep aside for half an hour.
  • Make 8-10 medium-sized balls from the dough, dust them with flour and rolls as parathas.
  • Heat a pan, gently drop a rolled paratha and drizzle some oil.
  • Cook the paratha on both sides.
  • Serve hot with channa masala.
