Ingredients

  • 200 g - red chillies (discard stalks)
  • 100 g - coriander seeds
  • 25 g - cumin seeds
  • 25 g - pepper
  • 5 g - fenugreek
  • 2 tsp - turmeric
  • 4 tsp - asafoetida

How to Make Mysore Saaru Powder

  • Roast red chillies with 2 tsp of oil and remove.
  • Roast all the ingredients from coriander seeds to fenugreek together.
  • Grind all the above ingredients together.
  • Mix in the turmeric powder and asafoetida.
  • Cool and store in an airtight container.
