Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - Rice flour
  • 1/2 cup - Rava
  • 1 tbsp - Maida
  • 2 tsp - Peppercorns
  • 10 - Cashewnuts (Crushed)
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 2 - green chillies (finely chopped)
  • Salt - 1 tbsp of ghee
  • Oil
  • 1 cup - finely chopped onions

How to Make Onion ghee rava dosa

  • Mix all the flours with water to make a very thin batter.
  • Add salt to it. Add cumin seeds, green chillies, peppercorns and cashewnuts to the batter.
  • Heat a tawa. When it is hot enough, pour two ladleful of batter in a circular manner.
  • Drizzle oil along the edges and also in the holes of the dosa.
  • Add some finely chopped onions on to it. When the bottom turns crisp and golden in colour, remove from the tawa.
  • Serve hot with coconut chutney/sambhar and enjoy.
