  • 8 slices - sandwich bread
  • 4 slices cheese
  • 2 tbsp - chopped onions
  • 2 tbsp -Worcester sauce
  • 3 tsp - butter
  • 4 slices smoked or cooked ham
  • 3 tsp - mayonnaise

How to Make Onion Ham Sandwiches

  • Butter the bread well on one side.
  • Place a slice of ham on 4 slices of bread.
  • Spread mayonnaise on top.
  • Sprinkle chopped onions and Worchester sauce over the mayonnaise.
  • Place a slice of cheese over this layer.
  • Cover with the remaining slices of bread.
  • Cut away the hard crusts and cut each sandwich into quarters.
