Pacha Thogayal is a delicious side dish that is a must-have in the South Indian platter. Usually recognised as a Thogayal/Thuvayal in South Indian households, it is a simple and tasty side dish that can be happily relished with your favourite rice or any main course. It is regarded a popular rice mix that comes in handy for picnic lunches too. 

This spicy thogayal is made with very few ingredients - grated coconut, tamarind, red chillies, asafoetida and coriander leaves. All these are grinded well in a blender till you get a fine, smooth chutney. Relish this super hot and spicy thogayal right away!

How to Make Pacha Thogayal

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender and grind nicely by adding a little water. Serve with rice.
