Ingredients

  • 200 gms - paneer, grated
  • 2 - potatoes, boiled, mashed
  • 1/2 cup - bread crumbs
  • 4 to 5 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 inch piece - ginger, grated
  • 3 to 4 flakes - garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp - coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp - mint leaves, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to deep fry

How to Make Paneer Tikki

  • Mix all ingredients in a large bowl except oil.
  • Make about 20 small kebab shaped pieces with the mixture.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan till smoky.
  • Let in a few tikkis at a time, deep-frying both sides till golden.
  • Drain and transfer on absorbent paper to drain excess oil.
  • Serve hot and crisp with chutneys, ketchup etc.
