  • Roasted peanut - 2 cups.
  • Sugar - 1 cup.
  • Vanilla Essence - 2 drops.
  • ghee or butter - 1/4 tsp.

How to Make Peanut Burfi (Chiki)

  • Peel peanuts, and break it into two halves.
  • Keep a pan on fire and add the sugar to it.
  • Keep stirring, till the sugar melts and a brown syrup is formed.
  • Add the vanilla essence.
  • Turn off the heat and add the peanuts into the syrup and mix well.
  • Grease a plate with ghee or butter.
  • Place the mixture in the plate and spread evenly.
  • Allow it to cool, then cut it into slices.
  • Store in an airtight container.
