  • 1 cup-rava or semolina.
  • 1/2 cup-sugar.
  • 2 cups-water.
  • 1 cup-pineapple, cut into small pieces.
  • 1 tsp- pineapple essence.
  • 5 tsp-ghee.
  • 1 tsp-cashew nuts, powdered.
  • 1 tsp-raisins.
  • 1 small pinch-orange or yellow colour powder.

How to Make Pineapple Sheera

  • Boil the pineapples till it becomes soft and keep it aside.
  • Heat the pan in low flame and add ghee to it.
  • When it becomes slightly hot, add cashew nuts and rava. Fry till rava starts becoming brown.
  • Moment it starts turning brown, add water, sugar, pineapple essence and colour powder. Stir till it thickens a bit.
  • Add pineapple, cardamom powder and raisins.
  • Serve it hot.
