  • 1 cup - rava
  • 3/4 cup - sugar
  • 1 cup - ghee
  • 3 - elaichi
  • 1/4 tsp - orange colour

How to Make Plain Kesari

  • Take a pan, add about 4 tsp of ghee.
  • Then add rava to it and fry the rava until it starts to get brown.
  • Add 3 cups of water to it.
  • Add sugar to it along with the remaining ghee.
  • Mix well.
  • Add some elaichi and orange colour to it.
  • Keep mixing it until the kesari become thick and water in it completely evaporates.
  • Serve it when cool.
