Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Chopped mushrooms
  • 1 cup - Chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup- Tomato paste
  • 2 - Chopped garlic cloves
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 - Small onion - chopped
  • 1 -Small green chilli - chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam masala
  • 1/2 cup - Frozen peas
  • 1 tbsp - Butter
  • 1 tsp - Olive oil

How to Make Plain Mushroom Masala

  • Heat oil and butter in a pan and saute the onions until pink.
  • Add the spices, chillies and garlic to it.
  • Fry for 1 min and add the tomato paste and salt.
  • Fry the tomatoes for 2 mins and add the mushroom, tomatoes and peas.
  • Add a little water and cover it.
  • Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot with rotis or rice.
