  • 300 gms - pork sausage, mince
  • 2 - onions, chopped
  • 1 - large tomato, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - chopped celery
  • 3 tbsp - milk
  • 1 tbsp - butter
  • 1 tsp - chopped mint
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 4 tbsp - flour
  • 2 potatoes peeled and sliced

How to Make Pork Mince Pie

  • Cook the sausage mince with the tomato, salt, pepper, onions, celery and 1/2 cup of water till the mince is cooked and the water dries up.
  • Butter an oven-proof dish and fill it with the cooked mince
  • Place the sliced potatoes on top.
  • Make a dough with the flour and milk and a pinch of salt.
  • Roll out the dough into a thin sheet and cover the dish completely.
  • Mark the edges with a fork and make a few small holes in the dough to allow the steam to escape.
  • Brush with a beaten egg to give a glaze.
  • Bake in a hot oven (400 degrees F) for 15-20 minutes or till the top is a nice golden brown.
  • Serve hot with French fries or chips.
