  • Eggs - 2.
  • Potato - 1, medium-sized.
  • Onion - 1, medium-sized.
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Mustard - 1 tsp.
  • oil- 3 tsp.
  • pepper powder -as required.

How to Make Potato Egg Omelette

  • For potato:
  • Splutter mustard in a pan.
  • Add chopped onions and fry till transparent.
  • Boil and mash potatoes and add to the onions.
  • Add chilli powder and salt and cook for 5 minutes.
  • For omelette:
  • Beat eggs well and add a little salt and the potato.
  • Stir thoroughly.
  • Heat the greased omelette pan and pour the above mixture.
  • Sprinkle pepper powder.
  • Turn the omelette to the other side and cook.
  • Serve with hot chutney or tomato sauce.
