Ingredients

  • 500 grams - cleaned and deveined prawns.
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste.
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder.
  • 5 tbsp - coconut milk.
  • 2 tbsp - oil.
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder.
  • 3 onions, sliced finely.
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped.

How to Make Prawns In Coconut Milk

  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions till golden brown.
  • Add the garlic paste and fry for a few minutes.
  • Add the chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, chopped tomatoes and fry for some time.
  • Add the prawns, coconut milk, salt and mix well.
  • Add 1 cup of water and cook on medium heat till the prawns are tender.
  • Serve with rice.
