Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Macaroni / Pasta.
  • 100g - Prawns, cleaned.
  • 2 - Onions, large.
  • 3 - tomatoes, medium.
  • 2 - green chillies.
  • 1 tsp - Ginger-garlic paste.
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp - Chilli powder.
  • 4 -cloves.
  • 3 - small cinnamon sticks.
  • 1 - cardamom (optional).
  • 1/2 cup - Mint/Pudina.
  • Coriander leaves - to garnish.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 4 tbsp - oil.

How to Make Prawns in Pasta

  • Heat the oil in a pressure pan and add the whole spices. After it splutters, add the onions, green chilli and saute.
  • Add the ginger garlic paste and saute. Then add tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes are mashed well.
  • Add salt, turmeric and chilli powder.
  • Now add the prawns and stir for 2-3 mins.
  • Add 4 cups of water and bring to boil.
  • Now add the mint leaves and the macaroni.
  • Cover and cook for 3-4 whistles.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot.
