  • 2 cups - white pumpkin, grated
  • 1/2 cup - Bengal gram powder
  • 1" piece - ginger
  • 5 flakes - garlic
  • 2 - green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying.

How to Make Pumpkin Kofta

  • Grate the white pumpkin and squeeze out the water.
  • Make a paste of ginger, garlic and green chillies.
  • Mix the grated pumpkin, Bengal gram powder, ginger-garlic- green chillies paste, a little salt and make a thick batter.
  • Make small balls and deep fry them in the oil in a kadai till it turns golden brown in colour and serve.
  • If required these can put in a gravy made of onion and tomatoes and taken as a side dish.
