Cook 1 cup basmati or sona masori or any other rice and keep aside.Left over rice can also be used.
In a frying pan put oil and when the oil is warm add hing,turmuric,red chilli pieces,green chillies,urad dal,chana dal,jeera seeds,mustard seeds,curry leaves,cashew/peanuts and let the mustard splutter.
Add the hot mixture to the cooked rice.
Add salt and 2 tsp of lemon juice.
Mix the ingredients with the rice thoroughly and serve hot.Its great by itself,no need of a side dish.
But if you want one, a cup of yoghurt (dahi) is good.
