Ingredients

  • 1 cup - fresh curd
  • 2 tbsp - Wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp - Crushed cumin
  • 3-4 pinches red chilli powder
  • salt to taste

How to Make Raab

  • Beat curd till smooth, add 2 cups water.
  • Add cumin, salt and chilli powder
  • Mix flour to a smooth paste in 1/2 cup water.
  • Add to curd mixture.
  • Blend with spoon till smooth.
  • In a large deep vessel, bring to a boil, stirring continuously.
  • One it starts boiling fully, simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve hot with crushed khakras(refer recipe index), cornflakes or as is.
  • Even kids find this wholesome broth tasty.
  • For tiny tots, you can add some overboiled rice to make it a complete meal.
