Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup - roasted rava
  • 1/2 cup - idli batter
  • 1 - onion, finely chopped
  • 3 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup - carrot, grated
  • 1/4 tsp - baking soda
  • 6 - curry leaves
  • 3 tbsp - coriander leaves chopped
  • Salt as per need
  • Oil for Deep Frieding

How to Make Rava Carrot Bonda

  • In a bowl, mix roasted semolina, idli batter, salt and keep them aside for 1 hour.
  • Semolina will absorb water from idli batter.
  • To the semolina mixture add finely chopped onions, baking soda, green chillies, carrot, curry leaves and cilantro leaves.
  • Heat oil and make small balls from the batter and fry till golden brown.
