  • 2 - raw bananas
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - split black gram
  • 1 tsp - channa dal
  • Pinch of - asafoetida
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • Coriander leaves - a few sprigs
  • Salt as per taste

How to Make Raw Banana Bhaji

  • Boil raw bananas in a pressure cooker and cut into small cubes.
  • Heat oil and add mustard seeds, urad dal, channa dal and asafoetida.
  • When it splutters, add cooked banana cubes and 1/2 cup water.
  • Then add turmeric powder and finely chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
  • Add salt and cook till it becomes dry. Serve hot.
