Ingredients

  • 2 ripe - bananas
  • 1 cup - whole wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Rice flour - 1 tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 3/4 -1 cup - water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - baking soda
  • Oil to fry

How to Make Ripe Banana Fritters - Pazham Pori

  • Slice the bananas and keep aside.
  • Mix wheat flour, rice flour, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, salt and baking soda in a bowl.
  • Add water and prepare a batter with dropping consistency. Heat oil in a frying pan. Coat these sliced bananas with the batter prepared. Deep Fried in hot oil till golden brown in colour.
  • Transfer to a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
