  • 250 g - sago
  • 1 cup - curd
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 4 - green chillies, minced
  • 1/2 piece - minced ginger
  • handful of sliced coriander leaves
  • salt according to taste

How to Make Sago Idly

  • Fry the sago in a little ghee till it is golden coloured.
  • Heat 1 tbsp. ghee and put in mustard, ginger and chillies.
  • When the seeds stop popping, then remove from fire.
  • Mix together sago, curd, salt, ginger mixture and coriander leaves and set aside for about 1 hour. Then steam.
