  • 1 packet - roasted vermicelli
  • 1 - finely chopped onion
  • 1 - finely chopped tomato
  • 1 - finely chopped potato
  • 1-2 tsp - vegetable oil
  • 2 - chopped green chillies
  • Garam masala
  • Red chilli powder
  • Amchur powder
  • Ajwain
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Green peas (optional)
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Salty Vermicelli

  • Heat oil in heavy pan and add ajwain.
  • Add chopped onions into oil. Fry onion until it becomes golden brown in colour.
  • Now add chopped potatoes, cover it and cook it on low flame.
  • Put green peas in pressure cooker and cook for one whistle.
  • When potatoes are cooked completely, then add chopped tomatoes, boiled green peas, red chilli powder and salt and fry it.
  • Add roasted vermicelli in pan and add water (nearly 2 times the quantity of vermicelli). Mix it well.
  • Cover it on medium flame.
  • Turn off the gas. Serve it hot with green coriander chutney.
