  • Vermicelli-1 cup
  • Brinjal(chopped)-1/2 cup
  • Onion-1
  • Channa Dal-1/2 tsp
  • Urad Dal-1/2 tsp
  • Mustard-1/2 tsp
  • Green Chillies-2
  • Garam Masala Powder-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp
  • Salt- to taste
  • Oil-2 tsp
  • Curry Leaves-a few
  • Cashew nuts-a few

How to Make Semiya Brinjal Bhath

  • Cook vermicelli in water and keep it aside. In a pan, add oil followed by mustard, urad dal and channa dal.
  • Once they crackle, add green chilles, cashewnuts and curry leaves. Now add chopped onion and brinjal.
  • Add turmeric powder and garam masala powder. Once they get mixed well, add the cooked vermicelli.
  • Finally, add salt and mix well. Serve with any chutney.
