Ingredients

  • Coriander leaves, dry - 1 tbsp
  • Channa dal - 1 tbsp
  • Urad dal - 1/2 tbsp
  • Red chillies - 5 flakes
  • Capsicum - 3
  • Oil
  • Rice - 2 cups

How to Make Simple Capsicum rice

  • Fry the ingredients and grind to a powder.
  • Cut the capsicum into small pieces and fry it with salt.
  • Add the powder to the capsicum and saute till the capsicum turns soft.
  • Do not fry it for too long.
  • Add the cooked rice to it and mix it well. Add salt if needed.
  • Garnish it with coriander and cashews.
