Ingredients

  • 1/2 litre - milk
  • 3 tbsp - sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1/2 kg - jalebi
  • 8 rusks
  • Coloured dry coconut powder and gems for decorating.

How to Make Simple Jalebi pudding

  • Boil the milk with the sugar for 1 minute.
  • Let it cool a little, then beat in the eggs and vanilla essence.
  • Grease a baking dish.
  • Line it with the jalebis and rusks in layers.
  • Pour the milk mixture all over.
  • Keep aside for 15 mins.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees C for half an hour or till it sets.
  • Decorate with coconut powder and gems.
  • May be served hot or cold.
