Ingredients

  • For batter mixture:
  • 1 cup- sooji (rava)
  • 1 cup- curd
  • 1 tbsp -paste of green chillies and ginger
  • 1 teaspoon- turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon - eno fruit salt
  • salt
  • For seasoning:
  • rye
  • oil
  • For garnishing:
  • coriander

How to Make Sooji Dhokla

  • Mix all the above ingredients and make a thick batter ( idli consistency). Grease a flat bottom plate or vessel and pour the above batter.
  • Steam it in the pressure cooker for about 7-10 minutes.
  • Take out and cut it into square cubes like dhoklas.
  • Add a thadka of rye on these dhoklas and garnish it with fresh coriander.
