  • 1/2 cup of toor dal
  • 1/2 cup of boiled rice (or cream of rice)
  • 1/2 cup of raw rice
  • Small ball of tamarind
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
  • 10 red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • Pinch of asafoetida powder
  • 1/4 cup of shredded coconut
  • Salt

How to Make Spicy Dosa

  • Soak dal and rice together in water for an hour.
  • Grind all the ingredients in mixie or grinder and make dosa paste.
  • Heat the pan, pour half spoon of oil and spread the dosa paste and allow it to turn golden brown.
  • Serve hot with mint or onion chutney.
