Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp - butter or margarine
  • 3 tbsp - all - purpose flour
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • One and a half cups - milk
  • 2 cups - shredded process American cheese
  • 250 gms - chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 1/2 cups - soft bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp - garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp - dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp - pepper

How to Make Spinach Cheese Bake

  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter and blend in flour until smooth.
  • Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes.
  • Gradually stir in cheese until melted.
  • Add spinach, bread crumbs, eggs and seasonings; mix well.
  • Spoon into an ungreased one and half quarter baking dish.
  • Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F for 45-50 minutes or until lightly brown.
