  • 1 - French loaf
  • 2 tbsp - tomato ketchup
  • 3 tbsp - mayonnaise
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 100 grams - salami slices
  • 100 grams - ham slices
  • 4 cheese slices cut into halves
  • 2 onions sliced thinly
  • 6 - toothpicks

How to Make Submarine Sandwich

  • Slit the bread horizontally, leaving it joined on one side.
  • Spread the ketchup on the cut surfaces and then the mayonnaise.
  • Place the lettuce leaves as a bottom layer.
  • Now place the salami, ham and cheese slices over the lettuce.
  • Sprinkle the onions on top of this.
  • Sprinkle a little pepper and salt over this.
  • Fold the other half of the bread over and secure with the toothpicks at intervals.
  • Your homemade submarine sandwich is now ready.
