  • Sooji or Bombay Rava- 2 cups
  • Sugar - 2 cups (If you like more sugary, add 1/2 more cup)
  • Ghee - 1/2 cup
  • Cashewnuts - 10
  • Raisins (Kismis) - 10
  • Cardamom (Elaichi) - 3
  • Coconut powder - 1/2 cup (Optional)
  • Milk - 1 cup

How to Make Suji Laddu

  • Fry suji in 2 tsp of ghee till it turns light brown, let it cool. Fry cardamom and make a powder. Heat 2 spoons of ghee in a pan and fry cashewnuts, later add raisins. Powder the rava and sugar separately in mixer and mix them. Mix all the ingredients well and make ladoos by adding a little milk. If you would like to store laddu's for a longer period, store them in a closed container and microwave for 10 sec before serving.
