  • 4 to 5 - red chillies
  • 3 to 4 - pods of garlic
  • 1/2 cup - grated coconut
  • Tamarind the size of a small ball
  • 1/4 cup - curds
  • salt to taste
  • 2 cups - water

How to Make Tambli (Konkani Dish)

  • Grind the red chillies, garlic, coconut and tamarind.
  • Mix this with the curd and the salt. Add the water, mix well and serve cold.
  • Goes well with rice.
