  • 115 gms. butter
  • 200 gms. brown sugar
  • 225 gms. carrots
  • 150 gms. refined flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Apple
  • 200 gms. raisins (seeded)
  • ½ tsp. allspice
  • ½ tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. baking powder

How to Make Tasty Carrot Pudding

  • Cream butter and sugar. Add grated carrots, chopped apples and seeded raisins.
  • Sift remaining dry ingredients together. Add to butter mixture. Mix well.
  • Pour into a large oiled mould filling it two-thirds full. Steam for 3 hours.
