Ingredients

  • 3 cups boiling water
  • A pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 ½ cups long grain rice
  • 4 cloves
  • 4 tbsp. melted clarified butter
  • ¼ tsp. crushed black pepper
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 4 eggs, beaten

How to Make Tasty Egg Rice

  • Add salt, cloves, black pepper and cinnamon to boiling water. Then add rice and stir well. Cover and steam until rice is done.
  • Meanwhile, in a large skillet, sauté onion in butter until brown. Add beaten eggs, cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Add hot rice. Stir well and remove from heat. Serve very hot.
