  • Channa dal - 1 cup
  • Red Chillies - 5-6
  • Salt, Hing - to taste
  • Kadhi Patha - a few sprigs
  • Onion - 1, chopped finely

How to Make Tasty Masala Vadai

  • Soak channa dal for 1/2 an hour and strain well.
  • Powder red chillies, salt and hing.
  • Then add the channa dal little by little and grind coarsely.
  • After grinding all the dal, put it in a bowl. Add kadhipatha, onion and mix well.
  • Make flat rounds in your palm and fry till done.
  • Serve hot.
