  • 6 bread slices
  • 1.5 packet - mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • 125 ml - fresh cream
  • 6 to 8 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup - fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 4 cubes - grated cheese
  • salt and pepper as per taste

How to Make Toasted Mushrooms

  • Wash the mushrooms well and slice.
  • Lightly heat butter in a sauce pan.
  • Add the crushed garlic and sautee for few seconds.
  • Add mushrooms and saute on a medium flame till all the water from the mushrooms evaporates.
  • Add the cream and cook on a low flame till the cream thickens.
  • Remove from gas. Add the grated cheese and mix well.
  • Season with salt, pepper, green chilli and parsley. Mix well.
  • The mixture should be thick in consistency.
  • Toast the bread slices.
  • Spread generous amount of the mushroom mixture on each toast. Serve hot.
