How to Make Tofu fritters

  • Make a dough of white flour with water and salt. Apply 1/2 tsp of yeast and keep it aside for 1 hour.
  • Take a little oil (about 4-5 tsps) in a container and heat it.
  • Add the capsicum, onion, tomato, spring onion and corn and cook till the vegetables are soft.
  • Add tomato sauce, chilli sauce, soya sauce and garlic paste to the mixture for a nice flavour and taste.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Cut the cottage cheese (paneer) into medium pieces and keep aside.
  • Allow the vegetables in the container to cool down.
  • Take the dough and divide it into 14 equal balls.
  • Now take a chapatti roller and roll the balls to make equal round shapes.
  • With the help of a spoon, put 1 paneer chunk along with 1 scoop of the cooked vegetables and 1 scoop of shredded cheese on each of them and fold.
  • Adjust from four sides to get a square shape.
  • Take care that the content inside does not break the covering and burst outside. Do not stuff vegetables in a way that compels the covering to burst.
  • Heat oil in a kadai until hot.
  • Fry for 2 minutes till the fritters become golden brown in colour.
  • Serve with tomato sauce.
