Ingredients

  • 3 - tomatoes
  • 1/2 bunch - coriander
  • 10 - green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp - tamarind juice
  • 1/2 tbsp - turmeric
  • 1 tbsp - mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp - channa dal
  • 1/4 tbsp -asafoetida

How to Make Tomato-Coriander Pickle

  • Grind 1 tomato, coriander, tamarind juice, salt and 5 green chillies, a little turmeric and keep it aside.
  • Season oil in a pan with 1 tbsp mustard seeds, 1 tbsp channa dal and a little of asafoetida.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, green chillies and bring it to boil.
  • Add the ground mixture to this and let it boil for 2-3 mins. Serve.
