Ingredients

  • Tomato - 1 (large, chopped)
  • Onion - 1/2 (chopped)
  • Green chilli - 4 (split)
  • Ginger - 1/2 tsp (chopped)
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - to taste
  • For grinding:-
  • Coconut - 2 cup (grated)
  • Jeera - 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • For seasoning:-
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli - 4
  • Curry leaves

How to Make Tomato Curry

  • Cook tomato, onion, ginger, green chilli with coriander powder, turmeric powder in one cup of water.
  • Grind coconut, jeera, garlic thoroughly.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, allow to splutter. Add red chilli, curry leaves and add the ground mixture into it. Saute.
  • Add the seasoned mixture into the cooked tomato.
  • Add salt and gently boil it for 2 minutes.
