Ingredients

  • 2-3 - tomato
  • 1/2 cup - garlic
  • 4-5 - red chillies
  • A little - Tamarind
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard
  • 1/2 tsp - urad dal
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt

How to Make Tomato garlic chutney

  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Add garlic, tomato, red chilli and tamarind and fry till it is slightly brown in colour.
  • Fry till the raw smell of the garlic is gone.
  • Grind it to a fine paste with water.
  • Heat the kadai, temper mustard and urad dal.
  • Then add the ground mixture and salt.
  • Serve with idli or dosa.
