Ingredients

  • 4 - Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp- turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp-Asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry.

How to Make Tomato Ginger Thokku

  • Boil the tomatoes and make a thick puree.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds.
  • Add the tomatoes and the other masala.
  • Cook for 10-15 mins.
  • Serve with chapattis or puris.
