  • Green chilli 1
  • Ajwan or carom seeds 1/4 tsp

How to Make Tomato Onion Omelette

  • Grind tomato and ginger to a paste. Cut the onions into fine pieces.
  • Make a paste of besan and mix it with tomato and ginger paste. Add chilli, coriander and half of the chopped onion to it.
  • Add salt, red chilli powder and ajwain seeds and mix it well.
  • Heat a non-stick pan and apply some oil (around 1/2 tsp for each) to it. Pour around 2 serving spoon paste on the pan, spread it evenly and spread some onions on top of it. Now let it cook and after 3-4 mins change the side. After cooking for another 2 mins it is ready to serve.
  • Serve it with butter, ketchup and tasty salt (optional). Goes great as sandwich stuffing also.
