  • Maida - 1/2 kg
  • Curd - 4 tbsp
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 4 tbsp
  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Egg - 1
  • Some white sesame seeds - for garnish

How to Make Traditional Naan

  • Sieve maida and baking powder.
  • Add curds, oil, pepper powder and knead it with warm water. Keep aside for 2 hours.
  • Divide into equal portions and roll using a rolling pin into oval shapes.
  • Sprinkle some white sesame seeds on it and cook naans on a tawa.
  • Pour a little oil on both sides. Serve.
