Ingredients

  • 1 bunch spinach leaves
  • 6 bread slices (soak and squeeze out water)
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • ½ tsp -chilly powder
  • ½ tsp - turmeric powder
  • a few cubes of paneer
  • 1 tsp - lime juice
  • 2 tbsp - rice flour
  • oil for frying
  • salt to taste

How to Make Traditional Palak Kebabs

  • Wash the spinach leaves and remove the stalks.
  • Chop finely. In a kadai, heat oil.
  • Add cumin seeds and spinach leaves, saute for a few minutes and remove from fire.
  • Grind to a fine paste.
  • In a bowl, add the spinach paste and rest of the ingredients, make a firm dough.
  • If necessary, add a little more rice flour or corn flour.
  • Prepare lemon sized balls and roll over bread crumbs, you can shape it into cones too.
  • Deep fry till golden brown.
