Ingredients

  • Maida - 1 cup
  • Wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Ghee - 3 tbsp
  • Peas - 300 g
  • Paneer - 200 g
  • Butter milk - 1/2 cup
  • Green chilli - 10
  • Coriander - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion - 2
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Ginger - 1 inch piece

How to Make Traditional Paneer Paratha

  • Mix flour and maida and add ghee to it. Add butter milk and make a tough dough.
  • Add salt and green chilli.
  • Grind ginger, onion, garlic and coriander and make a fine paste.
  • Roast peas in a pan with 2 tbsp of ghee.
  • After frying add paste in it.
  • Add garam masala in it and fry.
  • Grind peas finely.
  • Cut coriander finely, add paneer and salt.
  • Add peas paste to it.
  • Make small dough of flour, make roti as usual and apply peas paste on a full roti.
  • Make another roti and place it on the paste.
  • Bake roti on tawa.
