Ingredients

  • 4 slices - bread
  • 4 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 2 cups - mix vegetables (carrot, cabbage, boiled pea, mushroom, broccoli), chopped finely
  • 1 - big potato, boiled and mashed
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp - corn flour
  • salt to taste
  • coriander leaves for garnishing

How to Make Traditional Vegetable Gold Coins

  • Heat oil in a pan, add the onion and saute for a minute.
  • Add the vegetables and mix well.
  • When the vegetables are almost cooked, add the mashed potato and mix well.
  • Add garam masala, red chilli powder and salt.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Cut a bread slice into round shape with a katori. Put some potato mixture on the slice.
  • Add water to 1 tbsp of corn flour and make a thick paste.
  • Spread on the bread slice, add some til and fry.
  • Serve with sauce.
