  • 2 - Egg whites
  • 110g - Castor sugar
  • 1 tsp -Vanilla essence
  • 30 nuts - Roasted, hazelnuts.

How to Make Vanilla Hazelnut Meringue

  • Preheat the oven to 120 degrees Celsius.
  • Grease and line it with two baking sheets.
  • Now beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Add the sugar gradually and mix until it dissolves.
  • Stir in the vanilla essence.
  • Now place 1 tsp of the meringue mixture on the baking sheet with a 2 cm space between each meringue.
  • Top each meringue with hazelnuts.
  • Bake it in the preheated oven for 45 mins.
  • Leave it in the oven to cool with the door open.
  • Cool and store in an air tight container.
